LED Light-up card

I'm here to share one a card with my all-time favorite whimsy stamp. I made this card for my daughter's birthday. She turned three this year and I've been loving every bit of being her mother. She is also the biggest fan of my art work. I wanted to make a special card for her birthday. Hence, I started searching everywhere for a LED kit (Chibitronics one to be specific) in spite of knowing that it is not available in India. With the help of the super-talented Ranjitha Arul mam, I was able to set-up a local (and way cheaper) version of the led kit. Here's the colorful card I made for my daughter's birthday:

Diwali Cards

All festivals bring a huge cheer and happiness at my place. They raise my daughter's and my spirits. Since she has turned 3 this year, her painting skills have become better too. This diwali, she's helping me paint all the diyas for lighting at home and for gifting. :) :) Its such a joy to see my little princess color them with such concentration.

Being tied up with all that, I've started making cards really late. I made one last night and luckily it came out pretty well the first time. Here are the pictures of my card:

Tweety Hello!!

I made this card for playing along with Paru's card making challenges this month. The challenge this month is a 'summer card'. I wanted to make something summer (happy, yellow & orange) but quite different from beach, sun & ice cream. So after thinking hard, I made this tweety card.

I have used the cutie tweety and  Magical Mushroom stamps from Mudra stamps. I have used memento dew drops for stamping the sentiments. Coloured the tweety bird using Nirmal watercolours and distressed the background with Artistry inks.

Since I'm very new to crafting, I have minimal supplies. Hence, I keep looking for hacks. The die cut that I have used for stamping the tree bark and tweety is one such hack that I would like to share here. I drew out the shape on a cardstock using Versamark ink pad as a shaper and cut-it out with scissors. Sharing more pics of my card here:

Pregnancy Journal

\

Recently, I created a pregnancy journal for a dear friend.

This was the first scrapbook project I did and made it because only because I wanted to gift her something handmade. I followed a few youtube tutorials. It doesn't look perfect but I'm glad I could gift her something that is so special to me. Posting pics of the journal below:

Elephant wishes

Here's another card that I made for a birthday.
Twice, when we were going out for birthdays, my husband asked me if I had any cards that we can give. And unluckily, both times I didn't have any card that was ready. That day I decided to make a few extra cards that can be used in such situations.

This card has all my fav elements - Elephants, Balloons and Cupcake :). Posting more pictures of the card below:

I pasted the front panel in a little slanting way to denote that the balloons are flying up on the other side (The side without the elephant).

How I made this card:
1. I colored a white card stock with multiple colors of Artistry inks and punched out the balloons.
2. I pasted the balloons and threads on the blue pattern paper with the help of foam tape.
3. Then, I tied the all threads attached to the balloon to make a bow. I found the cute button shaped sticker in my stash and used it over the bow.
4. I them attached the die cut elephant (I had bought it for a baby book I made earlier) in a way that it would look like the elephant is holding the balloons.
5. I then embellished it with a cupcake sticker and Tag. The "Happy Birthday to You!!" on the tag is hand-written.
6. Then I backed it up with a pink pattern paper from my first ever paper stack - DCWV Cherry Limeade
